INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY (ICT)

At BISC all children have opportunities to develop Information and Communication Technology skills in a meaningful context through topic work and across the curriculum areas.

The children learn to communicate and handle information in a variety of forms and for a variety of purposes. ICT is used within the classroom to encourage children to develop their ideas and record their creative work.   Within each Key Stage the children are given access to age-appropriate software and audio-visual devices. Each classroom contains two fully resourced PCs and children use the recently upgraded Junior ICT Laboratory to further enhance their skills.
